When critical uptime is on the line, ex*****on matters....
A key mining customer urgently required a full set of new wear liners for their Metso® Superior® 54‑75 primary gyratory crusher, CMS Cepcor was chosen as the trusted the delivery partner.
Our team immediately responded, picking and packing components from our extensive UK stockholding. With downtime risk escalating, the customer requested urgent airfreight, prompting our teams to engineer a fully tailored logistics solution.
The single‑piece mantle, weighing circa 8,000 kg and being cone shaped, required a custom airfreight cradle to guarantee zero movement during transit. Our engineering team accelerated the design and fabrication process, ensuring safe, compliant, and on‑schedule dispatch.
In total, the Mantle and Concave Segments weighed 28,000 kg and were successfully transported in the cargo hold of a wide bodied Boeing 747 airliner.
Following the successful ex*****on of this urgent shipment, we are now preparing a repeat order for a second full liner set to be delivered by Seafreight, including:
• Mantle: 1‑piece ribbed Mn18%
• Full set of Concave Segments: Premium H69 alloy
