On-site in Ireland installing TwinBin Live with TR Fastenings.

This setup supports one of their customers in the heating sector, where fast, reliable access to components is critical to keeping production moving.

Before this, stock was managed using open bins and improvised solutions. Parts were hard to track especially across sites, reordering relied on someone checking and with sites nearly two hours apart, visibility wasn’t where it needed to be.

Since we’ve just stepped into Q2, thought we’d give you a bit of a catch-up on what’s been happening behind the scenes at TwinBin. As much as we’d like to, we don’t always get chance to speak to everyone individually and it’s been a busy one.

We had the Red Rose Awards with the team (and what a night that was). We were honoured to come away with the Design Award. A really proud moment for all of us.

The team also took on the North West Air Ambulance Moonlight Walk and raised £600. It’s a cause we’ll continue to support and if anyone else ever feels like contributing, it really does makes a difference.

There’s also been a lot of time spent out of the UK (customer installs, meetings, events) we’ll spare you the full travel list, but TwinBin systems are now in over 55 countries around the world!

Looking ahead to Q2, a big focus for us is Farnborough 2026, planning, design, and everything that goes into building the stand is already underway. And we hope to see you all there!

Last Saturday, the team took part in the 5K Moonlight Walk in support of the North West Air Ambulance.

Together, they raised £600 for a service that plays a critical role across the region, often reaching people in situations where every second really does matter.

What many don’t realise is that the North West Air Ambulance is entirely charity-funded. It doesn’t receive government or NHS funding, yet operates 365 days a year, delivering life-saving care when and where it’s needed most.

It was a great effort from the team and a reminder of the impact these organisations have behind the scenes.

If you’re looking for a cause to support, this is one that really makes a difference and you never know, you or someone you love might need their services one day.

Well done to Marcus, Martine and Soph and thank you to everyone who contributed.

We’re extremely proud to share that we’ve been awarded the Design Award at the Red Rose Awards.

After being shortlisted, Tommy and Basia presented to the judges alongside some incredible Lancashire businesses. A few weeks later, we were back, this time at the black tie awards evening, and honoured to be announced as winners on the night.

It was a brilliant evening with the team, and even better to be in a room full of so many ambitious Lancashire businesses all pushing forward.

The Red Rose Awards are one of the most respected in the region, so to be recognised at this level means a great deal to us. It reflects the work that goes into what we do every day, and pushes us to keep raising the bar.

A big thank you as well to P&M, one of the Red Rose sponsors, for the brownies, they didn’t last long in the office.
