A huge thank you to our returning Silver Sponsor, Brian Dent Limited.

Now backing Waddy Ducks for the fourth year in a row, their continued support means a great deal to us.

A proud family-run business serving the area since 1958, specialising in construction, groundwork and civil engineering, they’re a trusted local name known for quality work and getting the job done properly, values we admire greatly when trying to launch thousands of ducks on time.

Their sponsorship helps make the event possible and keeps this much-loved village tradition going strong.

We’re hugely grateful to have Brian Dent Limited with us again for Waddy Ducks 2026. 🦆✨

❄️ Our gritting teams are already in action today, treating the roads before temperatures fall to freezing this evening.

🌨️ They'll be gritting again later on and patrolling throughout the night to monitor for icy spots as a weather front is forecast to arrive in the middle of the night which could fall as wet snow even to lower levels initially before turning to rain. There could be more snow over high higher ground.

🧊 The difficult conditions mean that even roads which have been gritted could be icy. Please take care on Sunday morning as roads and pavements could be particularly slippery as the snow and rain falls on freezing surfaces.

👀 You can now see our gritters in action on our live map, which shows their current location and where they've gritted over the past 18 hours https://orlo.uk/W3CVK
