Last county show of the season at Dorchester show and came away with 3rd 4th & 5th in the statics and a second and reserve champion in the live with my latch. One more competition at the end of September then that’s the end of my first competition season.

Great result at the Edenbridge and Oxted show this weekend, unfortunately I couldn’t be there but my static pieces pulled 1st 3rd 4th 5th & 6th places and reserve show champion over two classes. Two shows left in the season with the next one being the Dorchester show this weekend, if you’re coming to Dorchester come and say hi at the Blacksmithing tent.

This years BFBA Bladesmithing competition at Stoneleigh in September will be its 5th year and we have an amazing line up of sponsors, alongside the brilliant multitool products which supply all of our grinders. Without these people this competition wouldn’t happen so Please go and check out all of there websites for all of your grinding and knife supplies. The competition is full but there are still spaces left for the sales area, if you’re interested please message me.

Back to the forge after a couple of weeks of shows, little commission that’s been on the list for a while

Brilliant three days at the New Forest show. Managed to get a second place, commended and reserve champion in the static classes, the live class didn’t quite go to plan, but hey ho, can’t get it right every time. Want to say massive thank you to everybody who came to the stall and the tent to support us and to all the competitors, you’re all legends in my eyes, but the biggest thanks has to go to my amazing wife who tirelessly supports me and sits on the stall, without her it wouldn’t happen. The next show will be Dorchester so hopefully see you all there.

Well, that’s it for the Royal Welsh show this year, had an amazing time with amazing people and came back with a couple of rosettes. On to the New Forest show next week, hopefully see you there.

Fantastic result at the royal Welsh show. Pulled
