💡 What is an S1 tile adhesive?

An S1 tile adhesive is classified as a deformable adhesive, meaning it can accommodate a degree of movement within a tiled installation.

This flexibility makes S1 adhesives a popular choice for applications where substrates may expand and contract due to temperature changes or vibration, including:
¬¬
✅ Underfloor heating systems
✅ External installations
✅ Overlaid timber floors
✅ Areas of thermal gain
✅ Saunas and steam rooms

Kelmore’s MoreFlex range offers S1 flexibility, helping to deliver reliable performance across a wide range of tiling applications.
