Sorry to all customers, suppliers and just general fans of the company for not keeping you updated over the last few months. We have been otherwise occupied with some big fish in our pan, making some pivotal decisions outside as well as inside the workshop walls.

These decisions have led to a prosperous start to 2017, with customer relationships building and new contacts made through word of quality output.

Although one of our key players is out of full-time action for the unforeseeable future, he still remains what we believe to be our strongest asset, as when he is on song he is one of the best in the business at what he does. During this period he will still have his fingers in the pies operating the logistical strings, but will be doing all this from a distance.

For now we advise you just to keep your procedures lean and remember world... we are all in business together.

After losing EU membership, the leader of our country (all be it inept) and the leader of our football team it has become apparent that we have a crisis of leadership and the direction in which this country of appears to be heading. At Wychwood Machining Ltd, dealing with so many different sectors, we appreciate the knock on affect that our decisions can make on millions of people around the globe. So the next time you vote for something, select the direction of your metaphorical ship or pick Harry Kane on set pieces, take a step back and think "am I doing what is right by all human beings, not just what is best for me".

I'd like to use this platform to publicly say that we will NOT be suspending our sponsorship and continue our support of Maria Sharapova in this tough period she is enduring. At WM we know only too well how hard some attachments on emails are to open, especially if they are not in the correct format. We all make mistakes (even our distinctly decorated director) and although WM don't condone drugs, we do condone loyalty. So Maria, if you've got half as much metal as us, you can come back stronger from this. Keep it Ma-real.
