The MK2.0 has a rigid plastic outer and a flex centre to continue the concept of push fit onto your styli.

Probe Protector - Renishaw/Haas OMP40, OMP400, OLP40, RMP40, RMP400, or RLP40 - Stylus mounted flexible protection disc.
UK registered design.
For use with a OMP40, OMP400, OLP40, RMP40, RMP400, or RLP40 style probe body, push fit as is made from flexible material on to a Renishaw/Haas style stylus.
Push fitting, over a maximum 6mm ruby size.
This design (for example) is for those times when your probe is active, you programmed positive and meant negative.. effectively the Probe Protector triggers the active probe and allows you to carry on without the cost of replacing a stylus or worse still the price of a new probe body!
Obviously if you manually drive the inactive probe into a job the probe won't trigger so the Probe Protector isn't going to help much apart from lessen the blow!
Made from ABS and TPU-95A
