📸 Two trucks depart our Carrwood premises carrying an EnviroHub Water Treatment and Monitoring System for a granite quarry. 🚚

The dispatch includes one TT20 treatment unit, two HL50 lamella tanks, an MU06 monitoring unit and associated pipework.

The unit will be used to correct discharged water and to monitor and ensure compliance with discharge regulations.

As we wrap up World Water Week 2026, we reflect on the importance of Asset Longevity in Sustainable Water Management

Building resilient water infrastructure isn't just about installing new technology—it’s about keeping existing assets running reliably to avoid wasteful throwaway cycles.

In support of this year's theme, "Water for People and Progress", reducing industrial scrap, unexpected failures, downtime and emergency replacements plays an essential role in resource conservation.

Tips on moving from reactive failure to proactive longevity:

Preventing Radial Thrust Damage: Operating pumps outside their duty window creates unbalanced radial loads, flexing shafts and causing premature bearing or seal failures. Correct sizing preserves asset structural integrity.

Selecting Application-Matched Elastomers: Whether handling abrasive slurry, extreme pH fluids or industrial wastewater, using chemically compatible stator and seal materials prevents frequent internal breakdown of pipes and pump internals.

Condition-Based Wear Monitoring: Monitoring vibration baselines, pressure/flow ratios, and bearing temperatures allows part replacement before catastrophic failure occurs.

Extending mean time between failures (MTBF) keeps raw materials out of scrap yards and ensures uninterrupted site water management.
