2015 Toyota Rav 4 in with us ASC on recommendation from a trade customer suffering dpf issues
During initial diagnosis and appraisal we noticed low Maf ( mass air flow ) values
The underlying fault was efficiently diagnosed as a restricted inlet caused by carbon and a restricted air filter

Had my husbands transit custom van booked in as engine light came on. Dave & his team diagnosed the problems & quoted. A vapouriser & throttlebody replacements, full dpf clean, not cheap. There was some issues with Ford systems so had to wait for parts. Van took back in & parts sent was incorrect, so rather than Dave the owner sitting back & waiting for another week, he went straight to manufacturer of parts & got not only the correct part, but alot cheaper than originally quoted. He passed this saving onto me, he didn't have to do that but saved us over £700 in total. Didn't need the vapouriser either as the full dpf clean was enough. Although found an issue with the EGR valve & replaced with new. Finding a brilliant mechanic like Dave & his team are far & few between these days. I would highly recommend to anybody looking for a decent, reliable, looks after his customer, old school morals mechanics. Thanks Dave & Automotive Solutions.

2015 Renault Trafic bi turbo into us today on recommendation from a trade customer
Underlying issues with the engine pre heat system causing emission related faults effecting dpf regeneration
Even though this vehicle has covered over 200k miles using specialist kit the effected glow plugs were removed easily
The dpf was then removed for flow tests and inspection

Underlying faults causing the the dpf problem correctly diagnosed before the dpf was removed for off vehicle clean
Faulty component identified and replaced ready for the dpf to be refitted
