🔥 Inspiring the Next Generation of Talent 🔥

This morning, three of our younger team members, Ryan, Will and Max visited Chiltern Hills Academy to speak with Year 12 students about career opportunities, their own journeys into the industry, and the many pathways available after education.

With the UK's New Hospital Programme driving demand for skilled professionals, they shared the wide range of careers available across engineering, project management, construction, sales, compliance, and many other disciplines.

Their aim was to show that there are far more opportunities than many students realise, regardless of the career path they choose.

It was a fantastic opportunity to give students a genuine insight into the industry, answer their questions, and encourage them to explore careers that are helping shape the future of healthcare.

Investing in the next generation is essential if we are to deliver the hospitals and infrastructure of tomorrow. We are proud to play our part in inspiring future talent and look forward to continuing to support local schools and colleges.

SHJ Proud to Support Samaritans Cycle 2026 🚴‍♀️💚

On Saturday 27th June, the SHJ team was delighted to once again support the annual Samaritans Cycle Sportive in West Wycombe.

Our volunteers were up bright and early, firing up the BBQ, flipping burgers and serving hundreds of cyclists, supporters and volunteers throughout the day. It was a fantastic event, filled with community spirit, teamwork and fundraising for an incredible cause.

The event raises vital funds for the Chiltern Branch of the Samaritans, helping them continue to provide confidential, non-judgemental support to people in need, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, volunteered and donated. We are proud to support such an important local charity and look forward to doing it all again next year.

We’re proud to be collaborating with MTX on the new Surgical Elective Centre at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

This modular facility will be supported by a fully integrated medical gas infrastructure, delivered by SHJ, providing essential oxygen, medical air, and vacuum services throughout the centre.

On Saturday, a determined team of 14 SHJ staff took on the Windsor 50 Ultra Challenge — pushing limits, supporting one another, and coming together for something far bigger than the finish line.

We are proud to have completed this challenge in support of Great Ormond Street Hospital and Charity, an incredible organisation that provides vital care, pioneering research, and life-saving treatment for children and their families when they need it most.

The team collectively raised £2,002!

On Saturday 18th April, Team SHJ will be participating in the Windsor 50 Ultra Challenge to raise vital funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust's Cancer Charity.
