No place we'd rather be than in a corner full of Mazaks. 🙌

Having the VTC 800/30SR, VARIAXIS i600 and QUICK TURN 250MY sitting side-by-side gives us the flexibility to cover everything from milling and complex 5-axis work through to high accuracy turning.

It also means we can keep key processes under one roof, move jobs more efficiently and maintain control of quality at every stage.

Time to put these machines to work!

Fabrication jobs are a lot easier to manage when the welding and machining are handled under the same roof. 👏

Our welding team work closely alongside the machining department to take on complex fabrication work, helping keep projects moving without parts being passed between multiple suppliers.

The team regularly carries out single and multi run fillet welds, along with butt welds in PA and PB positions, producing work to a high standard throughout. Where required, third party NDT inspection can also be arranged once fabrication is complete!

Our quality team has just signed off another great project!

Final checks are complete and each stage of manufacture has been verified, so the parts are ready to move on. Our quality system is built around ISO 9001 and supported by regular audits and customer approvals, particularly in sectors where standards are very strict.

We’re working through a batch of aluminium components, with the Mazak Europe VARIAXIS i-600 showing what it can do in a single setup.

With milling, drilling and multi-face machining all in one cycle, we keep lead times down and maintain consistency across every part, so they meet the same quality standard from start to finish. 🙌

Chips flying thick and fast!

April’s been a strong month for us, not just in terms of volume, but in the scale and complexity of work coming through the shop.

Big parts, 𝙗𝙞𝙜𝙜𝙚𝙧 fun!

Our Mazak and Dahlih machines have been busy this week turning components up to 3 metres long and weighing up to 5 tonnes! Watching these parts take shape in a single setup highlights the flexibility we bring to CNC machining.

Heavy, complex or oversized, every piece is machined precsely to meet the exact requirements our customers need.

Big parts coming off an even bigger machine - that’s a typical sight at 𝙤𝙪𝙧 factory!

When a customer needs large parts machined perfectly, we call on the DAHLIH MCV21010. Its tough frame and spindle keeps even the largest components accurate and vibration free, holding tight tolerances for industries where it really matters.

It definitely earns a place in our workshop, and it’s not going anywhere. 🙌
