NEW easywire three-phase mini split-core current transformers combine non-intrusive installation, compactness for tight spaces, and synchronised 3-phase monitoring. They are specifically designed for retrofitting into existing electrical systems without needing to shut down power.

The split-core design allows the current transformers to open and clamp directly around an existing conductor, eliminating the need to disconnect wiring or halt operations and are Ideal for adding monitoring to existing commercial or industrial panels where space is limited.

This dairy farm operates 24hrs a day, 365 days a year and was predominately looking to maximise its on-site electricity generation to provide cost savings as well as reducing its impact on the environment. Plus they wanted to reduce their exported energy by storing it for high demand periods.

They also wanted to charge their batteries from the grid overnight and then run the early milking shift from BESS, taking maximum advantage of the cheaper overnight tariff.

Rayleigh Instruments RI-DMUX is a Modbus RTU multiplexer that allows for two masters on a single RS-485 bus and forms part of a growing family of rayleighconnect™ products.

Requests from two Modbus RTU masters are queued and forwarded to Modbus RTU slave devices ensuring no data transmission conflicts. Once a response is received it is sent to the master that sent the request.

The second master does not receive the requests or responses initiated by the first master.
