Boiler change..

This was and upgrade from a regular boiler and vented hot water cylinder- to a Worcester System boiler 10 year warranty and pressurised hot water cylinder.
Cold water tanks are removed from loft so a loft conversion can be carried out in future.
All hot and cold taps are now on high pressure.

Perfect timing ahead of the cold mornings and evenings.

This thermal store was beyond repair and needed replacement.
Complex 6 meter long flue arrangement.

Pleasure to be able to complete the work within 3 days for our 94 year old customer, who only went without hot water for one evening.

Ideal Istore.... This is a thermal store - you see them in a lot of flats from round 1990’s to early 2000’s.
They were superceded by combination boilers.
Thermal stores are notoriously unreliable and overly complicated.

This one was beyond economic repair so a new system boiler and unvented cylinder was installed.
Very tricky flue, in a suspended ceiling (unit was located in the middle of the second floor apartment!).

This unvented cylinder was in a house where the previous owner had installed a loft conversion.
There was no means of sending hot water upstairs (other than installing a negative head shower pump)
The right way to do it was to install an unvented, pressurised cylinder.
All hot and cold taps on mains pressure now - no more noisy shower pumps, waiting to break down....!

Must be interested in a career in the domestic Heating and hot water industry and willing to attend college on a day release basis - following a satisfactory probationary period.

Successful candidate will work towards attaining Gas Safe qualifications to enable working on Gas appliances, boiler installations etc.

Interviews will be carried out over the coming two weeks.
Full driving license essential.

This Ariston boiler was fitted very poorly in a garage only a few years ago.
❌ No Frost Thermostat to protect boiler
❌ Pressure Release valve not connected!
❌ No Limescale filter to protect boiler
❌ No magnet filter to keep system clean
❌ Plastic pipe flapping around for hot water supply
❌ No pipes insulated

This loft conversion didn’t lend itself to radiators due to its shape... so underfloor heating it is!

Labour intensive - but the end result is non invasive to the room and allows you to place furniture wherever you want - without the restrictions of radiators.

Really enjoyed this house refurbishment.

1 year old Ideal Logic Max 30KW boiler relocated from downstairs to upstairs.

Complete new central heating system installed with these impressive upright column radiators and traditional towel rail.
They give off a lot of heat!

All boiler and heating work undertaken.

Another satisfied customer

This old Potterton boiler was working, but wasn’t the most efficient or reliable.

Replaced with an Ideal Logic Max. 10 year manufacturers warranty. Also upgraded to Hive heating and hot water system; which can be programmed and adjusted via your phone anywhere in the world!
