New Hardwood Stock Arrival – Tulipwood Boards

We’re pleased to announce the latest addition to our growing hardwood range at W Burton & Sons – Tulipwood boards, now available in stock.

Tulipwood (often known as American Tulipwood or Yellow Poplar) is a versatile and reliable hardwood widely used by joiners, furniture makers and manufacturers. It machines exceptionally well, is stable in service, and takes paint and finishes very cleanly – making it an excellent choice for interior joinery and furniture projects.

Current stock includes:
• Thicknesses from 25.4mm to 50.8mm
• Lengths up to 4.88m
• A selection of standard and wide widths

Typical uses include furniture making, cabinet work, mouldings, interior joinery, carcassing and painted applications where a consistent, workable hardwood is required.
