Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer based in Chatteris but often working on site for customers who may be based around the country. Use of a company van is provided for business travel only. The individual will perform routine equipment maintenance, troubleshoot machinery issues and execute preventative maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical problems, repairing equipment and ensuring the proper functioning of mechanical systems. The role requires collaboration with other departments to support production goals and adherence to safety standards.
Experience & Qualifications
Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance, Maintenance Engineering and Mechanical Maintenance
Experience with Preventative Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair Processes
In-depth understanding of mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques
Commitment to safety standards and protocols in a maintenance environment
Ability to work effectively on-site and within a team environment
Relevant technical certifications in Mechanical Engineering or a related field are preferred
Prior experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance is an advantage.
