A personal message from me, another year older, another exciting year, another year of challenges but also great creativity.

I want to wish you all the very best over this Christmas period, to all our Redstart Design customers & partners, both near and far….

Also a personal thankyou to all those invaluable partnerships we have with engineers and managers on the multiple projects we have or had. Projects that are large and complex from the likes of JLR, INEOS & FORD. Big companies, politics and processes all add to the pressures. Without these personal partnerships projects would not work, they thrive because people are at the core of why I do what I do….

As a team, our love for engineering drives our creativity, your problems feed our innovations. To develop and never accept the norm or status quo, to challenge conformity. Allowing our passion for design and engineering to be at the forefront of our brand, to be enjoyed by many.

I would also say, very importantly, I would not have the brand or companies I have without the very special people we have, that support myself and Mandy every week, month, year… without whom, and their commitment to the brand, we simply wouldn’t have the companies we do.
The positivity, creativity and culture of the business has never been better, thankyou guys, to all of you.

Redstart is looking forward to continued success in 2026, and hope for a positive, hard working year ahead.

What an evening! Our Team Building Session at The Tunnel in Charmouth was a blast, this is how RED Winches does team building!

We don't often have the chance to post about all the projects we are involved with in the automotive world.

Time is on our side at the moment, which is unusual......and we have had the chance to grab a quick image of these tooling platens before they head out the door. These currently in the image, are only half of what we currently need to assemble for the rear setup.

Designed and manufactured by Redstart design for an automotive production line in Europe. The rear tooling platens scope will soon be completed, and will then be joined by their matching front platens.

They end up on what's called a Dogbone system, which Redstart are also upgrading to accept new vehicle models.

The whole design, manufacturing and assembly teams have worked hard to deliver this project on time and to exacting standards.

Working within the automotive industries is not easy, and it takes a dedicate team with a lot of hard work, and a pinch of patience for Redstart to deliver at this level.

Looking forward to 2025 as the next few projects roll out of our doors.

This is the first Orange COBRA3 from RED Winches, but we are sure this will be a popular colour.
This particular one is about to board it's flight to the USA

Been trying to get back there for so many years, but work always got in the way...

Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024

RED Winches are delighted to announce we have been invited to join INEOS Automotive on their stand for a truly special display of the Grenadier vehicle. So please, if you would like to know more about what we do, how great the Grenadier is and what its capable of, we would love you to pay us a visit (see map)

The Owner and designer of our RED Winches, Neal Jones will be there, along with our experienced and resourceful RED Winch Manager Neil Brooklyn. Both ready and willing to discuss all things winches and recovery.
So if you want to come and see the winches in action, or just want to share or know more about the world of recovery, they would both love to see you.

Along with several of their current Grenadier models, you will also be able to see the INEOS Grenadier first ‘Arcane Works’ limited edition vehicle being unveiled on the stand for 2024…. Exciting times ahead….

Dates: 11th – 14th July at the famous Goodwood House grounds.

At Redstart Design, we also design and manufacture products for other businesses and professionals with a keen eye for what might be needed in certain industries.
While many have to remain confidential, for valid reasons… some don’t and we can show them online, like the image, its part of a range of indoor Bowling equipment we produce for Whitehead Bowls in Bridgwater, Somerset.
Shown here is one of the largest we have produced at 4m wide, in fact the customer wanted 2off them…!!
Soon leaving us and heading out to Gibraltar, to join a bowling club out there.
