Arrived on trailer with failed air suspension and rather big fuel leak.

1997 Range Rover P38 M51 2.5 diesel in the shop for “air to coil spring” conversion and general health check.
Old air bags (especially the front ones) were in very poor condition so as the rear shock absorbers. Customer supplied the Terrafirma raised medium load conversion kit.
New springs and shocks been fitted, high level sensors removed, air lines blanked and bypass loom been installed to BECM to make sure the computer wont throw any errors and warning lights.
Vehicle had significant fuel leak coming from engine bay, after closer investigation four of five injector leak off pipes were perished and had to be replaced.

Easy fix there…

Vehicle have a lot of modifications and requires much more attention but this was all I can offer at the moment with my busy schedule.

Hopefully I’ll see it back sometimes for more TLC

Another busy and productive weekend in the Land Rover Reconstruction Workshop here at our Ballynure base.

300Tdi Defender 90 built shaping up nicely. Old engine coolant radiator and turbocharger replaced for new shiny ones and rolling chassis finished.
Both front wings and sill covers were removed before the body shell was lowered. There were two simple reasons for doing so. The wings would eventually come off anyway because the vehicle will receive a new galvanised bulkhead as the next stage of this restoration project and it also make slightly easier to lower the body down without them.

But before we make a start on bulkhead replacement, all remaining bits like propshafts and exhaust will have to be bolted on.

Land Rover Defender 90 rolling chassis fully built today, new clutch kit fitted, new fuel tank, suspension and many other shiny bits.

Coolant drained from radiator and ready to be replaced with new one, new turbo to be installed, brake lines and chassis should be ready for body to be lowered back again.
But that is job for another day.

2005 Honda Civic Sport in for some welding TLC, subframe replacement next and she’ll be ready for MOT soon and then perhaps Alphalan treatment? 🤔

Low mileage (52k) Toyota Aygo (Peugeot 109, Citroen C1) rear sill / jacking point repair.

Very common issue on these folks, almost guaranteed to be on drivers side but I had one 109 with both sides needing welding.
Get yours looked at before it turns ugly.

Fantastic weekend in County Wicklow at Russborough House and Park.

Great event organised by Land Rover Owners Ireland team, definitely a very successful Summer Gathering 2026 with stunning weather this time.
Great group of friends and I was very happy to catch up with few old and make some new friends, Roger never missed a beat leading our small convoy Saturday morning and flat out today on the way back to north.

My daughter Sofia had a great time too. 🤩

Finaly after many months Roger the Range Rover is bolted back together again. 🥳🥳🥳

He’s been taken off duties last November and since then we had sooo much “fun” together…
New Terrafirma suspension fitted
New performance brakes all around
New Autobox cooler and full service including engine.
A bit of welding been done.
Immobilser programmed out with new fancy flip up ignition key.
Jeep Wrangler A bar modified to fit and pair of 6” PIAA led lights added.
Rear bumper is completely rebuilt
And finaly both rear corner panels and rear view mirrors been painted.

Now all Roger needs is good wash and 19” G4 wheels and thats it all ready for LROI Summer gathering in County Wicklow this coming weekend. 😋🤩
Seriously looking forward to take this beast out again.

1️⃣9️⃣9️⃣6️⃣ LR Defender 90 300Tdi in our Land Rover Reconstruction Shop for some well needed TLC.

With body and chassis separated all is ready for net step.
Rolling chassis strip down and preparation of brand new galvanised next… 😉

One of the long overdue jobs I wanted to do since I move to our Ballynure premises in January was removing the old address from CEO wagon.
Work load was mad (still is) but I think I finally managed to catch up with my schedule and kicked myself to do it.

XC70 look sharp again and ready to go to our local Volvo specialist in Portadown for new timing and aux belt kits.
I hardly keep any of my cars more than 3 years but tjis one is a keeper. Flippin love this thing…
