Busy start to the year for ourselves so far.

3 engines complete with another 2 in build

3 gearboxes complete including a new 6 speed Modena sequential build

2 rear diff rebuilds with another 1 in build

Plus the Rolling road has bookings from now right through till the end of March with only a few spaces left.

Various Subaru models for this weekends post 👌

First we have the 06 Hawk Sti. A regular customer of ours which this time the car was in for a top & tail after fitting a few new modifications. 450hp was the target and also the end result along with just less than 450ft ib’s of torque. Proper road weapon 👌

Next we have the JDM Legacy. This was in for a remap. The customer had fitted a few mods before bringing it to us to try and get that little bit extra. The end result (blue graph) over the previous (red graph) explains it all really. 40-50hp gained through the majority of the rev range. Along with 50-60 ft ib’s of torque. The customer was extremely happy.

Finally we have the Forester Cross Sport. We don’t get many of these at all if truth be known. This one had a bit of work done to it but since the customer owned it, it always felt sluggish. On the before run we noticed it had a boost cut around the 3250rpm mark. Mainly due to the added parts not being mapped into the ECU. After we finished mapping the gains weren’t massive compared to usual. 20-25hp & ftib’s of torque gained. But mainly no boost cut issue. The customer has since been on as he’s bought a bigger turbo along with various other parts ready for round 2 👌

Some healthy figures for this weekends post 👌

Firstly we have the 02 WRX. A regular customer of ours who this time had installed a new hybrid turbo. So this was in for a top & tail. The customer was hoping for around the 420hp mark. However the turbo just wanted to make power for fun, so we ended up at just over 450hp & 425ft ib’s of torque. The customer was absolutely ecstatic 👌

Next we have the Toyota Gt86. This isn’t exactly what it says on the tin… fitted now with the Subaru Ej engine along with various other modifications. It was an impressive piece of kit. Producing just less than 440hp along with 350ft ib’s of torque. All through the rear wheels 👌 The customer said it’s a proper handful in the wet 😅

Last but not least we have the 07 Hawk Sti. This was firstly in with us for an up-rated engine build after his original engine did a head gasket. Whilst the engine was out we also installed a new sports de-cat & Vf34 turbo. The customer wasn’t after spending a fortune on the bits around the engine. Just a good solid motor with reliability. Producing just under 350hp along with 360ft ib’s of torque was more than enough for the customer. We’ve given him some options if he decides to go to the next stage 😉

Bit of a variety of figures for this weekends post 👌

Firstly we have the Spec C Hawk. A regular customer of ours, however this time we’d done him a new up rated engine. So this was on for a run in & remap session. This car always did around the 380hp mark… however this time we managed to achieve the magic 400hp figure along with 400ft ib’s of torque. Cracking result 👌

Then we have the White Hatch Wrx. Another regular customer of ours. However this was just in for a health check after fitting a new induction hose after the old one went soft. Producing 275hp… we deemed this one as still healthy for a Wrx 👌

Finally we have the Clio Williams. Not many of these are seen anymore however this customer had just bought this one and wanted to give it a health check. He mentioned it didn’t feel responsive and the dyno proved he was right. Being well down on manufactures power and a bit of a wavy curve. We gave this customer some options to go away with and have a look at.

A few various Subaru’s for this weeks post 👌

Firstly is the Classic Impreza. This had been with us before, however we got halted with a few engine coolant issues so we never got to finish the job properly. Now it was back with us to be finished off. Fitted with a Link Ecu. The customer had asked for a high/low boost map along with using a flex fuel sensor to calculate additives put in for that extra bit more. The low boost map finished with 600hp & 400 ft ib’s of torque. With the high ending with just less than 640hp & 500ft ib’s of torque. With these classics being as light as they are… no doubt this is a handful on the road 👌

Next we have the Silver Wrx. This was in with us for a remap. As you can see from the first run (red graph) the power wasn’t bad however the torque wasn’t the most exciting. So after playing with the map, we managed to gain 40hp across 90% of the rev range along with 60-70ft ib’s of torque 😊

Finally we have the very clean Legacy. Again in with us for a remap, gains on these aren’t normally as big as what we can get with the Sti Imprezas. However on this one we managed to gain 20-30hp everywhere along with 30-40ft ib’s of torque. The customer was extremely happy seeing the 290hp in the end 👌

Another year, another dyno post 😉

Firstly we have the White Hatch. A returning customer of ours who this time wanted a top & tail after fitting a few more modifications. The maximum we’d ever seen from this was 420-430hp. So after finishing adjusting the map to suit and getting just over 450hp along with 470ft ib’s I’d torque. This was a win win all around 💪

Next we have the Blue Hatch, again with us for a top & tail. Some customers get road maps done, however after a few weeks or months. The curiosity gets the better and they decide they want a few things looking at here and there on the dyno. However despite seeing a figure over the 400 mark, the main thing in this situation was how better it felt on the road after our dyno session. 👌

Finally we have the Cooper S road rally car. Recently we’ve been taking a few jetting jobs on and expanding our resources down other avenues. With this one we found it was running dead rich, but with the customer having a treasure chest full of jets. We got to work and starting changing the necessary jets to change the fuelling where it needed changing. The car was that bad at the start it was hard to get an accurate run out of it. However by the time we finished, it made a very respectable 98hp. The customer was chuffed to bits & said it’s never felt as good 😊

Seen as we’ve been a tad busy recently, we thought we best do a post of some more dyno results 👌

Firstly is the Grey Gc8, a regular customer of ours who recently fitted some more upgrades to his car. So we had it back for a top & tail to see whether the new parts helped. Making 450hp & just less than 400ft ib’s of torque. This is the most we’ve seen out of this car to date. So we’d say that’s a mega job 👌

Next we have the Spec-C Hawk. Another of our regular customers who again made some changes. Also making the most we’ve seen out of the car to date. 415hp & 360ft ib’s of torque. Perfect 👌

Finally we have the 06 Sti Hawk. This was in with us for a few jobs in the garage along with a health check. Having a few upgrades around the engine made a big advantage to this car, producing 320hp without having a remap is exceptional on this model.

Some healthy figures for this weeks post 👊

Firstly we have the Classic Type-R. This was in with us for a remap session after recently getting a new Link ECU fitted. With the cars very strong package, we managed to get the customers magic 500hp figure he wanted. Great result 👌

Then we have the Hatch. This was with us for a top & tail after having a few more small mods installed. Managing to get just shy of 440hp & 450ft ib’s of torque was mega. The customer since has said the cars an absolute animal now 😉👌

Finally we have the Blue Bug eye. Again this was in with us for a remap. Our first run showed it at 360hp & 330ft ib’s of torque. However after ourselves doing our usual magic, we managed to get the final figures to just shy of 400hp & 360ft ib’s of torque. Another happy customer 😊
