We have managed to save our centre from closure, but we need your support to move forward. We will be looking to have an AGM shortly so will need your input as to how we move forward.

Centre update:

Having been in discussions with Head Office, I am pleased to announce that the IRTE Border Centre is to remain open.

A great chat with Head Office and support we have received from them and our core members has secured the future.

We now need to get together and plan the future, so any help from anyone to commit any time at all would be most appreciated.

The Society of Operations Engineers our parent society is planning to close the Border Centre this year.

We have not been active since the COVID Pandemic but we do have a loyal band of followers willing to rekindle social evenings including CPD moving forward. However to contact the membership to start the ball rolling we need the help of our head office as your committee does not have access to membership information.

I have messaged head office but not had a response as yet as we need to appeal the closure decision before the end of January.
