📢 WE’RE HIRING – Yard Person / Hire Equipment Assistant

We’re looking for a reliable and practical Yard Person to join our team.

Working with a wide range of agricultural machinery, access platforms and hire equipment, this is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are quite the same.

The role will include:
• Checking over machines and equipment when they are returned from hire
• Preparing equipment ready for the next customer
• Helping customers when collecting and returning machinery
• Keeping the yard organised, safe and tidy
• Assisting with loading and unloading equipment

We’re looking for someone who is practical, dependable and willing to get stuck in. Experience with agricultural machinery, plant or access equipment would be useful, but a good attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.

A driving licence required.
Ideally looking for someone full-time, but part-time may be considered.

📍 Location: Ivegill, Carlisle CA4 0PA
⏰ Hours: 7.30am- 5.30pm Monday to Friday, Alternate Saturdays 7.30am- 12pm.
💷 Pay: Hourly rate dependent on experience.

Busy first bank holiday weekend of May as the event season is in full swing.
One of Andrew's many jobs during this week has been moving the green man which has been in the parade of the May Day celebrations today in Penrith.
