Recent project for a good friend of mine over at Water Force Pressure Washing!
Starting from some generic dimensions, space constraints and required features, TDE assisted Aaron with designing, supplying, fabricating and installing his Power Washing Rig! 📏 ✏️
We began with some discussions of what was required etc as well as the volume and position of different equipment required for his general working practices. 🚿 🧽
I then modelled Aaron’s Rig in CAD to allow for us to see how it would look when finished but also to see how different equipment would fit and allow for us to design around space constraints before cutting any steel (and therefore spending money!).💰
Once we were happy with the design, I produced a to scale engineering drawings from which we could fabricate the frame! 📐✍️
Next to was produce a cut list and to order all the materials we would need, sourcing steel locally and using local profiling firms! 🧑🏭
We then cut, welded, grinded and painted the rig, ensuring there was no uncovered steel that could rust in the future, due to the wet nature of the job!💧
Finally, we installed and fastened the Rig to Aaron’s van.
It’s been a great project, very rewarding to see this in use.
