We’re a Carlisle based company, providing precision engineering services to industry, and we’re looking for a Profile Machine Operator/ Workshop Assistant to join our team.
The ideal candidate should hold the following attributes:
• Experience using profiling machinery (laser/ plasma/ waterjet).
• The ability to understand and interpret technical drawings.
• The ability to work with precision and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Safety awareness: understanding and adhering to safety regulations and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
• The ability to work well both within a team and autonomously.
• A positive and flexible approach to working.
• Accredited forklift truck certification (desirable but training will otherwise be provided).
The position is full time (40 hours M-F) and permanent, primarily based at our premises in Dalston, with occasional travel to Customer sites throughout the UK as required. Salary determined on experience.
