Tonnau Surf Drop by and say hi. We offer a friendly welcome to everyone! We sell a range of surf and casual wear, as well as specialist surf equipment.

Tonnau is a surf and outdoor store in Cardigan stocking brands like: Firewire, Slater Designs, Hurley, FCS, Softech, Howies, C-skins, Katin, Volcom, Rip Curl and Ocean & Earth. From wetsuits and wax to bikinis and board shorts. We supply everything you need to make the most of our beautiful local beaches. If we don't have something you're after - we will order it in for you! So pop in for a browse, or a chat (if you know Ben, you know he loves the chat) and support us in our local West Wales Surf store. �

The actual Joanna Page popped into U Melt Me today!! 😭✨

She’s been filming a brand new TV show here in Cardigan and came to visit our little shop — honestly, WHAT IS LIFE?! 🥹

Of course we had to gift her one of our clawclipcymru Welsh flag claws 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 and she absolutely LOVED it and said she was so excited to wear it. 😭❤️ Seeing our little Welsh flag claw heading off with Stacey from Gavin & Stacey was not on our 2026 bingo card!! 😭

Joanna also had a little shop while she was here and picked up some of our gorgeous knitwear pieces from Peony & Bee 🥹🛍️

Ben also got to say hello and gifted her some Tonnau Surf goodies which she was also so excited and grateful for 🥰🥹

She came in with her fabulous makeup artist Olly Fisk 🖖 Make-up Artist, and they were both just SO incredibly lush, warm and down to earth. It genuinely meant so much to us that they took the time to come in, have a browse and chat with us. 🥹

We’re a tiny independent shop in Cardigan and moments like this just feel completely surreal. 😍

Now… we genuinely need a lie down. 😂😭

❤️ DIOLCH, EISTEDDFOD! ❤️

What. A. WEEK!!! 🥹❤️

We honestly don’t even know where to start… Eisteddfod 2026, you were INCREDIBLE!

A HUGE thank you to every single person who came to visit us, shopped with us, chatted to us, shared our posts, tagged us, came back for more and supported our little businesses. The love we felt all week was just unreal. 🥹

And somehow, in the middle of all the madness, a brand new business was born… CLAW CLIP CYMRU! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿❤️

What started with our Welsh claw clip turned into something we could NEVER have expected…

🔥 WE SOLD OUT BY DAY TWO!!! 🔥

And then the pre-orders just kept coming… and coming… and coming! All night every night until the early morning! 🤯

Honestly….WHAT!

We have been absolutely blown away. We’ve had SO many requests for new designs, colours and ideas, and our heads are already spinning with everything we want to create next! 👀💗💚❤️

This really feels like the beginning of something very exciting, and we genuinely can’t thank you enough for getting behind it from day one!

And if you haven’t managed to get yours yet… THIS IS YOUR LAST CALL! 🚨

We have just a handful of pre-order spaces remaining before we switch pre-orders OFF! You can still order online via the link in our bio, and our lovely locals can pop into the shop now and order theirs in person too for free pick up❤️ (or select pick up online)

Massive thanks as well to Matt and Mandy Verrall for running around like absolute legends putting tubs out to catch the water.

And to my family—who turned up within minutes of a message armed with towels and buckets ❤️

All under control now. Heaters and dehumidifiers doing their thing, and thankfully no stock was damaged 🙏

We’ll be back open 🤞🤞 at 10am tomorrow. Easter Monday.
