NEW CAREER OPPORTUNITY!!!!
Due to the continued success & expansion of Fulcom, we currently have an opening for a Trainee Commissioning Engineer.
Experience of Heating, Cooling and Ventilation Systems is preferred, but not essential, as full training will be provided. The successful candidate will be enrolled on the Commissioning Specialists Association training course, so this is an exciting career opportunity with a clear, structured path of development.
Based in South Wales, you will primarily be required to work at sites across South Wales & the West of England, but Fulcom offers Commissioning Services nationwide so there will be occasional travel further afield.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Professional, adaptable, self-motivated, and eager to learn and develop.
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
GCSE Maths and English to Grade C or above
Driving Licence and own transport (Only travel to our office in Cardiff or a meeting place for onward travel with a senior engineer will be required at this stage).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To become familiar with site safety, the company Health & Safety policy and Health & Safety at Work Regulations.
To learn site discipline and procedures.
To assist senior personnel in carrying out commissioning and Pre-Commission Cleaning activities on site and generally to observe instructions given by an authorised person.
To learn about instruments used on site, how to handle and look after them.
To report to site Managers when arriving and leaving site.
Undertake and comply with Fulcom’s training policy.
To learn how to balance water and air flows whilst assisting more senior staff.
To become familiar with our software packages and learn how to complete commissioning reports to the required standard.
Salary is dependent on experience & qualifications.
