We were delighted to be a hole sponsor at the Burton Roofing North West Charity Golf Day at Formby Hall, supporting one of our valued partners and helping raise an incredible £7,000 for their chosen charity, Halle's Hub.

A special mention to our Operations Director, Debbie Jones, who we finally let out of the office and onto the fairways for the day. As the only female golfer among 66 players, she did us proud... even if her golf game wasn't quite as polished as her organisational skills!

It was a fantastic day for a fantastic cause, showing what can be achieved when partners, customers and suppliers come together to make a real difference in the community.

Well done to everyone involved, especially the Burton Roofing team and all the sponsors who helped make the day such a success.

Creating environments that support comfort, wellbeing and long-term care starts with getting the fundamentals right — and that includes the roof.

Completed in Spring 2026, the Prince of Wales Care Home in Shirley, Solihull is a purpose-built 72-bedroom care facility, designed to provide a safe, welcoming and modern environment for both residents and staff. Featuring contemporary accommodation, communal living spaces, landscaped outdoor areas and specialist care facilities, the development sets a high standard for care home construction.

As part of this impressive development, approximately 450m² of side lap fixed Fatrafol 810 reinforced PVC membrane in RAL 7012 dark grey was installed on a cold roof system, delivering a durable, weather-resistant waterproofing solution built for long-term performance.

Expertly installed by Harizaj Roofing & Construction Ltd, the project showcases the value of quality workmanship, meticulous attention to detail and the use of proven roofing systems. The clean finish and striking Anthracite Grey roof complement the building's modern design while providing reliable protection for years to come.
Projects like this highlight how high-performance roofing systems play a crucial role in safeguarding buildings that matter most — helping to create safe, comfortable spaces for residents, staff and visitors alike.

We were delighted to support last week's golf day hosted by Jewson, Hawick at Minto Golf Club. It was a privilege to be invited to take part in such a fantastic event.

Our very own Gordon Hastings flew the Fatra flag on the day, enjoying some great golf, networking, and (we're told) spending at least some of his time on the fairway! ⛳

At Fatra, we're always pleased to support industry events and were proud to donate four golf cart bags as prizes for the winning team.

Congratulations to all the winners, and a big thank you to Robbie for putting together such an enjoyable and successful day. We look forward to supporting future events!
