We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver with a valid HIAB licence or previous experience to join our team based in Caerphilly. This is a full-time position Monday to Friday delivering plant and equipment to commercial and residential sites across Wales and the South West.
The position will be on a temporary basis initially leading to a full-time, permanent position for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
Safely operate a rigid HGV Class 2 vehicle equipped with a HIAB crane.
• Load/unload goods using the HIAB in accordance with safety standards.
• Deliver equipment to various locations in a timely and professional manner.
• Complete delivery paperwork and pre/post vehicle checks.
• Maintain a positive and professional customer-facing attitude.
Requirements
• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid HIAB (Loader Crane) certificate (e.g., ALLMI) or experience of HIAB use. (A refresher course can be carried out with a suitable candidate).
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous experience operating a HIAB is essential.
ADR qualified desirable but not essential. Willingness to undertake the qualification essential.
• Good communication, customer service and time-management skills.
