Welcoming Mark Wilson - Technical Operations Manager
We are delighted to welcome Mark Wilson to Standby UK as our new Technical Operations Manager.
Mark joins us with a wealth of industry knowledge, having over 2 decades of Senior Management and Director level experience within the Specialist Vehicle conversion sector. During this time, he developed a deep understanding of vehicle conversion, customer requirements, and the practical application of advanced vehicle technologies.
In his new role, Mark will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for leading and developing our Technical Department. His remit includes overseeing pre- and after-sales technical support, quality and sustainability initiatives, and driving training and apprenticeship programmes across the business. He will also play a pivotal role in strengthening our product portfolio and ensuring we continue to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions to our customers.
Mark brings strong leadership, technical expertise - particularly in vehicle electrical systems - and a passion for continuous improvement. His hands-on experience and collaborative approach will be instrumental as we continue to enhance our offering and support our customers across the UK and Ireland.
