Congratulations to Mark Greswell, our Trainer of the Month for August! 👏

Mark only joined the club this summer and has already managed the seemingly impossible task of training more consistently than people who’ve been here for years.

Turns up. Works hard. Doesn’t invent a minor hamstring issue when conditioning starts. An outstanding start to life at Devizes. 😂

For his efforts, Mark has been awarded a selection of protein goodies to help fuel the alarming enthusiasm.

A deserved winner. The rest of you should be embarrassed.

🏉 Some heroes wear capes. Others turn up with a bag full of rugby balls.

A massive shout out to new player Mark Anthony Gresswell and player sponsor Wiltshire Hose, who have generously sorted the club with a fresh set of training balls, entirely off their own backs.

It’s a cracking gesture and one that’s hugely appreciated by everyone at Devizes RFC. The new balls are already in circulation and should, in theory, improve our handling…

…although we can’t promise they’ll survive the first “hands” drill without being launched into the nearest hedge. Some things are beyond even brand-new rugby balls. 🤦‍♂️😂

Seriously though, support like this makes a huge difference to grassroots rugby, and it’s brilliant to have people like Mark and Wiltshire Hose backing the club from day one.

Different to the usual hose repairs but here at Wiltshire Hose we also diagnose a various array of hydraulic issue’s, this job in particular was not just a failing ram but was possibly caused by the build up of material jamming the operation doors!

It’s been a busy start to the year that we have not had time to post lately , however this weekend is a very special time of year when we need to take a step back have a rest & be grateful !
