🏆 The Goat Marine Skiff is heading to Sydney for the JJ Giltinan Championships, the pinnacle of 18ft Skiff racing! Meet the crew taking on the challenge on Sydney Harbour:

Luke Goble – Skipper
"Very fortunate to have the long-suffering James and Cam in front of me making the boat go forward—luckily for me, driving is the easy part of skiff sailing! Racing on Sydney Harbour is a dream, and we're ready to battle it out in a hopefully windy JJ. Our boat is 5-10 years older than the rest of the fleet, and none of us have squad sailing experience like most teams, but we’re here to take a few scalps anyhow! 💪"

Cameron Barr – Sheet Hand
"I'm responsible for keeping the boat rolling. I started sailing 18 footers seven years ago, with some 29ers, International 14s, and RS800s along the way. This is my first time in Sydney, and I’m stoked to be racing in front of the Opera House! My goal? Push hard, have fun, and aim for a mid-fleet finish! 🤙"

James Taylor – Bowman
"I’ve been sailing 18ft Skiffs for four years and currently crew the GBR91 Goat Marine Skiff, managing sail controls and trimming the spinnaker. Like the rest of the crew, I’m a member of Netley Sailing Club and also sail RS100s, RS800s, and sometimes a Cherub. We've been competing on the European 18ft circuit, so racing at the JJ’s in Sydney Harbour is a huge opportunity!"
