What a fantastic day at the 40th Annual Caersws Vintage Rally!

On behalf of the Mid-Wales Vintage Machinery Club, we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who attended, supported, exhibited, traded, volunteered and helped make today such a success.

Thank you to all of our exhibitors for bringing along such an incredible display of vintage machinery, tractors, cars, commercial vehicles, stationary engines, steam engines and more. Thank you also to our craft stall holders, traders, food vendors, entertainers and all of the volunteers working behind the scenes throughout the day.

A special thank you must also go to our sponsors, supporters and everyone involved in organising the rally over many months of preparation. Your continued support and dedication help make this event possible year after year.

And of course, thank you to all of our visitors who came along and supported the rally, especially in today’s incredible heat! It has certainly been one of the hottest rally days we can remember, and we are very grateful to everyone who came out and helped make the atmosphere so special throughout the day.

The Caersws Vintage Rally is all about bringing the community together whilst raising funds for important local causes. This year, funds raised will support:

• Lingen Davies
• The Game Change Project
• Hope House Children’s Hospice
• Guide Dogs for the Blind

We are always looking at ways to improve the rally and make each year even better, so your feedback is extremely valuable to us. If you have any comments, suggestions, or ideas, we would love to hear from you.

We would also really enjoy seeing your photographs and videos from the day, so please feel free to share them with us in the comments or by messaging the page.

Thank you once again to everyone who helped make our 40th anniversary rally such a memorable occasion.

The countdown is nearly over. The 40th Anniversary Caersws Vintage Rally takes place tomorrow at Red House Farm, Caersws, and the weather is looking fantastic with temperatures forecast to reach 29°C ☀️

We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone for a brilliant day out, but please take care in the heat:

🧢 Wear hats and light clothing
🧴 Apply sun cream regularly
💧 Drink plenty of water throughout the day
🌳 Take breaks in shaded areas where possible
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Please keep an eye on children, elderly relatives, and pets in the hot weather

Important notices regarding dogs 🐶

🐕 Dogs are very welcome on the showground, but they must be kept on a lead at all times
🚰 Please ensure your dog has access to water throughout the day
🐶 A dog drinking station is available near the Vintage Tea Room
🦴 Please clean up after your dog and bring waste bags with you
🚗 Dogs must NOT be left in vehicles at any time. If you witness a dog left in a vehicle, please report it to a showground official immediately

As the sun sets over the rally field, the first of the steam engines have arrived ready for the Caersws Vintage Rally this Bank Holiday Monday 25th May.

The field is slowly filling up, the exhibits are being prepared, and everything is coming together for what promises to be another great day at the rally.

The countdown is on… and the rally field is really starting to come to life! 🚜🎠🎶

Major infrastructure is now in place and preparations are well underway for what’s set to be a fantastic day at the 40th anniversary of the on Monday 25th May!

☀️ The latest forecast is looking absolutely glorious, so don’t forget your sunscreen and stay hydrated throughout the day. We’ve got plenty of covered areas around the field if you need a break from the sunshine and our much-loved Vintage Tea Room will be ready to welcome you for tea, cake, and a sit down! 🍰☕

🐶 Well behaved dogs are welcome on the rally field, but please remember to clean up after them so everyone can enjoy the day.
