Electrician, Installation
Full Time, Permanent
Monday – Friday 40 hours per week
Salary- Above JIB rate, negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.

Due to continued growth GEMS are looking for an Installation electrician to join a team of experienced, hardworking and highly skilled electricians. Working on a wide variety of projects including Industrial, Commercial and Domestic projects. The position will require working individually and as part of a team. The majority of the work is within a 15-mile radius of Buxton but travelling further afield as required is an expectation of the position when projects dictate. GEMS are a small but growing team who pride ourselves on customer service and team work.

Skills and requirements
· C&G NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation (or equivalent)
· BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (will renew if not up to date)
· 2391 Testing & Inspection (advantageous but not essential)
· Must demonstrate a passion for the trade, along with the ability to work off their own initiative as well as within a team.
· All of our projects are customer facing and as such it is essential that you can demonstrate respect, and a friendly approachable personality.
· Previous experience of on-site breakdowns and fault finding in domestic and commercial environments is advantageous but not essential.
· Full driving License essential.

Employment package:
-Salary- Above JIB rate, negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.

Due to continued growth within our electrical installation team we are currently recruiting for two positions within our team, the positions are as follows:

Installation electrician: to join our installation team across industrial, commercial and domestic projects. Full employment package available which will vary depending on the candidates experience and knowledge. It is essential that the candidate fits into our small, hardworking and highly skilled team.

Apprentice Installation Electrician: this candidate must demonstrate a passion for the field, along with the ability to work well within a team. All our projects are customer facing and as such it is essential that you can demonstrate respect and a friendly approachable personality. No prior knowledge required but prior work experience would be beneficial.
