Mike has 17 years of experience in warehouse and logistics management, Mike brings a strong operational skillset and a wealth of industry knowledge to the team, playing a key role in keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Part 2: Mechanical Load Performance

Our hardware pushed to the limit. PAS 24 mechanical load testing is a rigorous, simulated burglary assessment designed to ensure doorsets can withstand forced entry attempts.

The process includes:

✅ Simulated Attack Forces applying calibrated loads to replicate pry‑bar intrusion attempts
✅ Targeted Stress Testing up to 4.5 kN of force applied to critical locking points, corners, and hardware
✅ Structural Integrity Checks multiple load sequences to test the strength of the full door system

All carried out in line with PAS 24 standards, demonstrating that when integrated into a compliant doorset, our hardware contributes to systems that are strong, secure, and resistant to forced entry.

PAS 24 Testing – Part 1: Weather Performance

Our hardware put to the test. PAS 24 weather testing ensures that when installed in a door or window system, our hardware performs under the toughest conditions, including driving rain, strong winds, and extreme pressure.

The process includes:

✅ Air Permeability measuring airflow leakage through the system under pressure
✅ Water Tightness testing for zero water ingress during heavy simulated rain
✅ Wind Resistance applying extreme pressure to confirm structural stability

All assessed in line with the BS 6375 standard series, proving our hardware helps systems stay secure, sealed, and reliable in real world environments

Last week, Richard Morris attended PAS24 testing.

PAS24 testing is all about real-world performance, assessing how a full doorset stands up to forced entry using a combination of manipulation and mechanical attack tests. What makes it unique is that it doesn’t test individual components in isolation, but how everything works together as a complete system.

From locks and cylinders to hinges and handles, every element plays a role in achieving a pass. It’s great to see each part in action and how they perform under pressure.
