Vacancy - Warehouse & operations assistant

D&D International Valves Ltd. is a small, growing specialist supplier of industrial valves to the petroleum industry. We are looking for a reliable and capable individual to join our warehouse and operations team.

This is not a basic warehouse job.

Accuracy, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are far more important than previous warehouse experience.

The Role Includes:

Goods inwards and goods outwards inspection
Stock control and stock movements
Packing customer orders accurately
Assembly of valve components following instructions
Pressure testing valves
Forklift operation counter balance and pivot steer (training provided if required)
Use of a Jib-crane
Lifting and carrying
Occasional company van driving

The Right Candidate:

Experience not essential – full training provided
Willing to learn, follow instructions, and work accurately
Practically minded
Methodical, careful, and reliable
GCSEs at decent grades (or equivalent), particularly Maths & English
Full UK driving licence required
Interest in developing skills and taking on more responsibility over time

Full time role.
8.45am to 5.15pm. 40 hour working week. 21 days holiday + Christmas new year shutdown + bank holidays.
