We’re a local Branch of one of the UK’s largest friendly societies, the Oddfellows, which has a 200-year-plus tradition of creating opportunities for people to meet up and make friends, as well as supporting its members in times of need. ve members across our District which stretches from Uttoxeter in the west through Burton upon Trent to Swadlincote (south Derbyshire) in the east down to Tamworth & Lichfield. These are just some the regular events that we hold at the Unity Hall in All Saint Road, Burton. Everyone is welcome to attend. Badminton – every Monday & Wednesday morning at 9.30am-12.00 noon. Monday evenings, 7pm-9pm. If you want to keep fit for fun, come & have a friendly game. Short Mat Bowls – every Wednesday at 2pm-4pm. A chance to make new friends and enjoy a gentle sport – with a break for refreshments and a chat. All playing equipment is provided; all you need are flat shoes. 25p per week for the refreshments.
