5 Championship wins in 8 years. One seriously quick Mini. 🏆

Aaron is the 2026 Mini Miglia Champion!

Silverstone gave him one final challenge. A loss of drive in qualifying meant an engine change, but Aaron delivered P5 in Race 1 and P2 in Race 2 to secure the championship.

We’re incredibly proud to support Aaron and to see all that speed, consistency and hard work pay off.

Five titles in eight years is an incredible achievement.

That kind of record doesn’t happen by accident. What a driver.

Wait until the light catches this...

Last time you saw this shell, Basil was in the spray booth painting it.

Now the masking is coming off, giving us our first look at the finished paintwork — a deep metallic black with fine metallic flecks that change as the light moves across the shell.

Before you can rebuild a Mini properly, you have to understand what you're starting with.

For this Mini 30, that meant a careful strip-down at Mini Sport.

As the car came apart, we could begin to assess what could be retained and restored, what needed replacing, and how much of the original character could be preserved.

Because this restoration was never about making everything new for the sake of it.

When a Mini has been part of the same family since 1990, some parts carry more than just their replacement value.

This was the starting point for everything that followed.

We were going really well until...

Didn't complete it mate 🤕😭
First loop was great and we were still having fun; unfortunately the old girl stepped out on us and we ended up rolling over the flying finish.
Both sore but OK, car not so much but at least we got her into the ambulance 🤭

One weekend left. Everything still to play for. 🏁

Aaron Smith heads to Silverstone this weekend leading the Mini Miglia Championship after a brilliant season so far.

There have been wins, podiums, tough races and plenty of close Mini Miglia action along the way — and now it all comes down to the final races at Silverstone.

A huge congratulations to Aaron on everything he’s achieved this season, and from all of us at Mini Sport, good luck for the weekend.
