When a new security system is installed, the technology is important, but what happens afterwards matters just as much. A customer recently shared something that really stood out to us -

"They even suggested videoing the training for future reference."

It's a simple idea, but one that can make a real difference. Teams are busy, staff change and having a recording to refer to helps ensure everyone feels confident using the system long after the installation is complete.

For us, great customer service isn't just about installing equipment. It's about leaving every customer with the knowledge and confidence to use it effectively.

Thank you to Ronald McDonald House for recognising our engineers' commitment to going the extra mile. We are proud to support organisations whose work makes such a positive difference to families.

Supporting our communities goes beyond the systems we install.

We were proud to donate Protec fire alarm panels to Ronald McDonald House Alder Hey , helping to support the incredible work they do for families with seriously ill children.

A huge thank you to the Ronald Ronald McDonald House team for their kind words, and to our installation engineers, whose professionalism, customer service, and willingness to go the extra mile ensured staff felt confident using the new system.

It's a privilege to support an organisation that provides a true home away from home for families when they need it most.

Making a difference goes beyond the fire safety systems we install.

We’re proud to support organisations that make a real difference in their communities. By donating new fire alarm panels to Ronald McDonald House UK at Alder Hey Hospital, we’ve helped provide enhanced protection for the children, families and staff who rely on this incredible charity every day.

📢 One Week On…

It’s been one week since our Charity Football Fest, and after such a fantastic day, we’re already looking ahead to next year!

Together, we were delighted to raise nearly £800 for our three chosen charities: Dogs Trust, Pendleside Hospice, and Ronald McDonald House 💗

More than 200 people joined us throughout the day to watch the charity football match and enjoy everything from inflatables and carnival games to plenty of great food and refreshments. A huge thank you to Palomino Pizza Co for the delicious pizza, Charlie’s Coffee for keeping everyone caffeinated, Rossis ices for the much-needed ice creams, and Barnoldswick Town Juniors FC for keeping everyone fed and refreshed with their bar and BBQ!

We’d also like to say a massive thank you to Barnoldswick Town Juniors for providing the venue, refreshments and burgers, as well as all the support from their team both in the build-up and throughout the event. Their help played a huge part in making the day such a success. 👏🏻

And finally, thank you to Samba Sports or kindly donating the footballs used in our charity match.

The feedback we’ve received has been brilliant, and with such a fantastic turnout for our first event, there was only one thing left to do…

Make it an annual one! ⚽🎉

We can’t wait to do it all again next year. See you there! 😉

At Protec, we're committed to creating a safe and supportive workplace, and that includes giving our people the skills and confidence to act in an emergency.

Over recent weeks, colleagues from across the business have taken part in a series of CPR training sessions, with an excellent level of participation.

Thanks to this fantastic engagement, we now have a growing number of CPR-trained team members throughout the company.

The hands-on sessions covered the essential steps of responding to a cardiac emergency, including how to recognise when someone needs CPR, how to perform chest compressions correctly, and how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). The training also highlighted the importance of acting quickly, as early CPR can significantly improve a person's chance of survival.

While we hope these skills are never needed, knowing what to do in those crucial first few minutes could make all the difference.
