This Week's Lottery Winners!

The Buckfastleigh Town Lottery is a non-profit local organisation that provides grants for community groups, events and good causes within the Buckfastleigh parish area. Originally organised by the local traders and is currently based in J Searle & Son.
The fund has provided grants to many different groups over the years and for 2025 we are pleased to say we have allocated over £1800 to local groups within the town.
By entering not only are you supporting many good causes within Buckfastleigh but you also have the chance to win a cash prize every week.
The prize fund is a full 55% of the weekly stake money with a weekly jackpot plus second and third place prizes.
You can have as many entries as you wish and you can pay either by cash in the premises of J Searle & Son or by monthly direct debit. The payment is just £1 per week cash or £4.34 per calendar month by direct debit.
You will be kept informed of the winners each week by a notice displayed in the window of the shop as well as the results being posted on the J Searle Facebook.
Community groups are invited to ask for grants by letter to the Buckfastleigh Town Lottery, 43 Fore Street, Buckfastleigh, TQ11 0AA or email: [email protected] and mark the subject Buckfastleigh Town Lottery.

Call out Ivybridge early this morning, freezer not reaching its optimum temperature! Did you know poor ventilation is one of the major causes of your fridge freezer not to working efficiently! Or complete component failure…….. especially in the heat we have had over the last few days.
Like this American style unit. Pushed up against the back wall, with no where for the heat from the compressor to escape! Simple vent holes drilled and all works as it should.

Triple service call outs in Dartmouth this morning. All 3 for a local letting agent. In and out before the music festival starts.
2 were repairable, new elements and fans, 1 was beyond repair. Our engineer try’s and repairs, but in some cases this is not possible. So we can quote for a replacement. As we did in this case. replaced and Installed ready for the weekend 😊
