Today the team were working on a beautiful three storey property in Broadway, carrying out a full roof clean using our mobile lift to access the roof safely.

Using the lift allowed Mikey and Martyn to reach the roof securely and work comfortably while carrying out the clean to the high standard we expect on every project. Working at height always requires careful planning and the correct equipment.

Safety is always our priority. While the work was being completed, a dedicated banks person remained on the ground, ensuring the surrounding area stayed safe and guiding the lift operator while the team member worked in the cradle above.

It is this attention to safety, planning and detail that allows us to deliver professional results while protecting both our team and the property.

IPAF Operator Required

Cannins Mobile Lift Hire

Cannins Mobile Lift Hire are looking for a reliable IPAF operator to operate our 20 metre Nissan Cabstar mobile access platform when the lift is hired by customers.

This position is offered on a self employed subcontractor basis and would suit someone looking to top up their income or a mature and experienced operator seeking flexible casual work.

The Role

You will be responsible for driving and operating our 20 metre vehicle mounted platform for customers who hire the lift for a variety of projects.

Work will be varied depending on the type of hire and may include supporting trades such as property maintenance, roofing, tree work, inspections, signage installation and exterior cleaning.

Most bookings are scheduled in advance, although occasional short notice jobs may arise.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving the lift vehicle to customer sites
• Carrying out basic daily safety checks on the machine
• Setting the lift up safely on site
• Operating the platform to position the customer safely at working height
• Ensuring safe and professional operation throughout the hire period
• Representing Cannins in a professional and courteous manner

Location

The vehicle is based in Evesham and jobs are generally within a 20 mile radius covering the North Cotswolds and surrounding areas.

Hours and Pay

• Paid hourly
• Typical hire periods between 3 and 9 hours
• Minimum booking 2 hours and maximum 8 hours
• Pay rate to be agreed

This is ad hoc work depending on hire bookings, so flexibility is important.

Requirements

• Valid IPAF licence
• Proven MEWP operating experience
• Full UK driving licence
• Professional attitude and good communication with customers
• Reliable and safety focused
