Early start in the workshop this morning getting another CNC plasma job underway.

Cutting through 10mm mild steel with the reliability of the Hypertherm North America plasma system and the precision of the KUTAVAR CNC table. Clean cuts, tight tolerances, and plenty of sparks before most people have had their first coffee. ☕🔥

There’s something satisfying about watching raw mild steel turn into finished parts first thing in the morning.

This custom sole trawl clump has just come out of fabrication — heavy-duty plate construction, reinforced mounting points, and a solid roller assembly designed for reliability on the seabed. The cut-outs keep strength where it matters while helping reduce unnecessary weight, and the full welded build is made to handle the harsh realities of commercial trawling.

Every edge, weld, and fitting is engineered with durability in mind because downtime at sea isn’t an option.
