Various stubs & brackets for the new gorilla house at Bristol Zoo Project in 316 Stainless Steel (St. St.). Expertly fabricated in our workshop in Bristol, using our new Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) St. St. Welding Procedure Specification (WPS), we hope the Critically Endangered Western Lowlands (that we share 98% of our DNA with) will be happy in their new African forest habitat. The craning of complex, tower frames onto an artic lorry at Rank Engineering in Bristol, ready for galvanisation. The largest frame is 11.5m x 2.8m and weighs 1.25 Te. All have been NDT tested in line with contract spec. Another BS EN 1090-2 EXC3 project under our belt. Well done to all fabricators.
