Working alongside Spillard Safety Systems Ltd, we delivered a successful trial that reduced red zone incursions by over 50% by using AI to review and categorise data from Human Form Recognition Camera Systems for Octavius Infrastructure on the Galliford Try Banwell Bypass project.

Our second shortlist for this year's Construction News Magazine (News,views, reviews,civilengineering) Awards is for the Supply Chain Collaboration Excellence for our successful trial of the Spillard Safety Sytems IMS system on the Banwell Bypass project with our client Octavius Infrastructure and the principal contractor, Galliford Try.

The Spillard Integrated Managed Service (IMS) solution combines AI and an account manager to automatically categorise red-zone incidents identified by the Human Form Recognition Cameras (HFRC), enabling Octavius to address high-risk, high-volume issues quickly and effectively.

Put simply, we use data and technology to help prevent harm and improve safety across sites.

A huge congratulations to Paul Dillow, our Technical Quality Manager, on winning the Vision In Action award.

Paul has done an incredible job raising standards across our workshops and turning quality into something that genuinely matters to everyone, rather than just a box to tick.

Quality is at the heart of everything we do as a business. From our standard operating procedures to the way we support each other day to day in the workshops, it is what helps us deliver consistent, reliable equipment and a service that our customers can count on.

What has made the biggest difference is how Paul has brought everyone with him as we continuously improve how we work. There is a real shared pride across the workshop teams, as we all play our part in increasing quality.

Our Founding Exec. Director, Claire Trott, has been shortlisted for Construction Leader of the Year. This reflects her strong leadership to drive Plantforce to become the tier 1 business it is today, through to a successful succession, with Sam Mercer becoming CEO.
