Nice Red 2011 UK STi in for some maintenance work.

This car was originally owned by the South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue and used for awareness campaigns.

Work carried out:

🕵🏻‍♂️ Locate fuel smell and exhaust gases in cabin source
🔧 Remove and strip down inlet and replace fuel link hoses
🔧 Strip and clean TGV
🔧 Exhaust gasket replacement and boot holes recovered (from previous wiring of emergency lighting)
🔧 Front alloy arms, drop links and rack ends replacement
🔧 Air conditioning system drain, flush and Regas

Very low miles on this car with only 35k miles.

P1 Engine is now in its new home, mated with an EXEDY Europe Stage 1 clutch kit and TTV Racing Components lightweight billet flywheel - and powered by a Roger Clark Motorsport RCM380 billet single scroll turbo and DeatschWerks 550 injectors.

Finishing off the engine bay with our crinkle red inlet manifold and re-cored top mount intercooler.

Ready for 1000 running in miles, before putting some boost through it!

Does your Type R / 22B or P1 have the dreaded scratched front door glass? OR does it have non-original glass from being a track car previously?

We have the solution - new front door glass, rear 1/4 glass and rear screens available.

This full package we supplied:

1 x pair front door glass
1 x pair rear 1/4 glass
1 x rear screen (no wiper hole)
1 x set of front and rear screen trims
1 x roof gutter trim clip set
1 x under bonnet insulation

Packaged into custom made packaging by one of our partners PACK & SEND UK and shipped off to Jersey.

Finishing off the Type R we installed the engine and buttoned everything up.

A few other bits we supplied and fitted to complete this refresh:

Under bonnet insulation
Performance core refurbished intercooler
Genuine fuel hose throughout
Performance panel filter
Genuine Subaru fuel filter
Along with various other new genuine Subaru parts throughout
Manual A pillar aerial

The rear bumper was then removed to replace the rear bumper beam, number plate lights along with having the exhaust mount bracket and rubbers replaced with STi group N items.

After road testing we had one of our trade partners install a Auto-watch alarm system for the owner to have some added much needed security.

Car has since been collected and a few sunny weekend miles have been put on the clock!

A much needed update regarding the Type R work.

Engine was built back up with freshly re-plated items, along with many new Genuine Subaru parts throughout.

Including:

camshaft pulleys, coolant crossovers pipes, hoses, inlet hose, oil pump, water pump, exhaust up-pipe, sump, pickup pipe, STi group N engine mounts, clutch kit, seals and ancillaries.

You can get a glimpse at some of the STi parts fitted to the S206 NBR from factory.

The car is untouched and as it rolled off the boat from Japan, ready to be fully prepared and detailed by our friends at Appreciating Classics Limited.

Being a grade 4.5 with only 20k KMs - you can really see underneath how clean this example is!
