The women’s section at Old Salts have continued to grow at an impressive rate, reflecting the overall development of rugby within the club. This growth has now led to the establishment of separate Women’s and Girl’s teams, providing more structured opportunities for participation and progression.
 
We are also proud to continue to compete in the Inner Warrior League, with our last game at home winning 22-17. The rise in participation has been particularly encouraging with a full team playing in this match, highlighting a strong and growing interest in the sport.
 
Over the year twenty one of our women have taken part in full contact, competitive matches, demonstrating both the progress made and the exciting potential ahead. The women and girls section continues to expand, with active recruitment ensuring a steady influx of new players and a bright future for the club.
 
We are also delighted to recognise that one of our players, Keeley Graham, was selected to represent Greater Birmingham RFU at a recent tournament, a fantastic achievement that reflects both her dedication and the strength of the programme.
 
With ongoing thanks to the support shown by GRS Stone Supplies towards our Women’s section during the season and their support for grass roots rugby.

Progress on site in Cheltenham as part of the M5 Junction 10 upgrade 🚧

We’re proud to be working alongside Kelston Sparkes — a partnership spanning over 30 years - delivering numerous successful projects together.

For this scheme, is providing circa 60,000 tonnes of 6F5, with deliveries reaching up to 1,000 tonnes per day to keep the programme moving efficiently.

Projects like this highlight the value of long-term collaboration, reliable supply, and the ability to deliver at scale.

Great to see strong progress on such an important infrastructure project for the region.
