Weโre especially proud to highlight one of our own team members, Martin, who embodies this spirit of giving back. Every single week, Martin steps away from his marketing duties to volunteer his time with FareShare South West and WECIL (West of England Centre for Inclusive Living).
For those who don't know, FareShare UK is the UK's largest charity fighting hunger and food waste. They take quality surplus food from the food industryโwhich otherwise would have gone to wasteโand redistribute it to nearly 8,000 frontline charities and community hubs. From breakfast clubs to homeless shelters, they help turn environmental waste into millions of nutritious meals for vulnerable people.
WECIL is a fantastic charity dedicated to supporting people with disabilities to live independently and have equal choices in life. Through their invaluable youth development programs and community services, they actively empower individuals to remove barriers and take control of their own futures.
