A McEwen Smith Agricultural & Commercial Contracting are expanding and are on the look out for another tractor driver. Summer job with a potential to be full time.

You will need good work ethic, able to carry out tasks within a team and on your own, able to listen and follow instructions and be able to keep a good record of work.

We run a fleet of Massey Ferguson tractors so experience in operating them is a bonus but not essential.

No accommodation available, excellent rates of pay and plenty of hours. Weekends and evenings will be required during busy periods but not always.

Mains roles will include:

Ground preparations
Mowing
Tedding
Raking
Square and round bale wrapping
Baling
Slurry tanking
Silaging
Loading and stacking bales
Hedge trimming
General maintenance on equipment
Site works

Our stand for the North Somerset Show is now finished and we are looking forward to a great day!!

The lads have been busy the last few weeks with a great variety off jobs, in between showers the tankers and pump have been very busy and we’ve even managed to squeeze in some chain harrowing and rolling with a bit off combination drilling being done to. With the weather on the change we managed to get the baler out!!!!!

Straw and hay also on the move up and down the country working well alongside Abbott & Co Wessex Ltd
