This was really enjoyable as you don’t really see these on the road any more. The fiesta R/S turbo was cranking but not starting. We diagnosed it as a fuel pressure issue pointing at an issue with the pump. We dropped the fuel tank and removed the fuel pump. We found that the small hose between the pump and the hat had failed. We replaced the pump, pipe and associated seals etc. Now the car starts immediately and we have another happy customer. 👍🏻

Probably the worse brakes I’ve seen. Rear brakes were so worn that the outer brake pad escaped and therefore the piston came out of the caliper. The customer had been driving around with the brakes grinding. The whole repair ended up being rear brake discs and pads, rear brake calipers and a master cylinder as the seals flipped when the piston came out of the rear caliper. If you have any grinding noise from your brakes please get them checked. Better still get in touch and we can inspect them.

This customer was having some limp mode problems. We scanned the vehicle for faults and found faults for turbo over boost condition. After gaining access to the turbo boost solenoid we found an issue. There is a clip that holds the vent pipe from the solenoid that was missing and therefore the pipe had touched the hot engine. The pipe had melted and was no longer venting. Once we rectified this it was back to normal.

We carried out a lot of work on this Range Rover sport. The vehicle would go into limp mode when under load. We diagnosed it as a crack in the intake manifold. The customer requested we replaced both manifolds, carried out timing belt replacement and fuel pump belt replacement. He also requested a full engine service too. We opted to lift the body due to all of the work required. As you can tell it was no small feat.

Transmission was leaking on this really nice Audi TTRS. Upon inspection it was leaking from the cap on the Nearside of the transmission. We replaced the cap with a genuine part and the customer opted for a service on the transmission so we carried that out aswell.

DPF clean carried out on this A-Class. Once cleaned the engines full power has now been restored. We also carried out through checks to find out if there was a cause of the DPF blocking in the fist place. In this case we believe it is just the kind of use the vehicle has had.

Another 1.2 PSA with wet belt problems. This vehicle was having problems with oil pressure and variable valve timing (this is actuated by oil pressure) when we carry out these 1.2 PSA wet belt jobs we go the extra mile to ensure the debris from the belt is cleaned out. Not only do we remove the sump and clean the oil pick up (this is the bare minimum in our opinion), we remove the oil pressure control solenoid, Variable valve timing solenoids and vacuum pump. We then clean these, blow out the oil galleries in the head and then reinstall everything. The vehicle is now running tip top. 👍🏻
