Location: Highley, Shropshire (transport links are limited, own transport would be essential)
Salary: Negotiable dependent upon experience, Pension & Healthcare Programme, 33 days' holiday

Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior High Voltage Technician located in Highley. The Technician will be responsible for testing, diagnosing, and repairing high voltage power supplies to ensure optimal performance. This includes conducting regular maintenance, collaborating with the design and manufacturing teams to troubleshoot issues, adhering to safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role may also involve training junior technicians and providing technical support to customers as needed.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in testing, troubleshooting, and repairing high voltage power supplies and related equipment
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and high voltage safety practices
- Experience in maintaining and operating analytical, x-ray, or industrial equipment is advantageous
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaboration and customer support
- Relevant certifications in high voltage systems or electrical engineering are a plus
- Prior experience in a leadership or senior technician role preferred
