Badars The Braintree and District Amateur Radio Society (BADARS). All guests are very welcome to come and join us. Visitors and new members are always made welcome.

We meet at Stisted Village Hall, Rectory Rd, Stisted, CM77 8AL every 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at 20.00. The Braintree and District ARS was formed in 1975 by founder members Dave Penny, Nick Shepard, Peter West and Roy White and has since then been serving the interests of over 30 members from North Essex and West Suffolk. The club is affiliated to the Radio Society of Great Britain and t

Club meetings provide a mixture of guest speakers, member's presentations, technical evenings and social events. The clubs goal is to involve new and existing members in club activities, to broaden their knowledge and to get the maximum pleasure from the hobby.
