We recently supported our client, Star Pubs, on a project at The Pier Hotel Morecambe.

What began as a minor render repair led to the identification of some additional masonry and structural considerations. 🔍🧱

Our team carried out a prompt survey, working closely with site staff to assess the situation and provide clear, practical recommendations.

By taking a proactive and collaborative approach, the necessary repairs were implemented efficiently ⚙️✅, allowing works to progress smoothly and safely. The result is a successful project, with the building well-prepared for the long term and a fantastic looking pub restored to its former glory. 🍻🏡

A good example of how early involvement and close coordination can help keep projects on track.

J B Langley are deeply saddened to announce the passing of one of our original Directors, Barry Ernest Parker.

Barry established the business in 1990 and worked tirelessly to help build it into what it is today, remaining actively involved until his full retirement in 2014.

Barry will be remembered for his dedication, hard work, and the lasting impact he made on the company and those who worked alongside him.

Our sincere thoughts and condolences are with his children and family at this difficult time.

We’re often asked how posi-joists perform in practice and this is a great example of their value on site. 👷‍♂️✨

On a recent project, posi-joists were used to deliver both structural efficiency and practical benefits throughout the build. Their open web design allowed seamless integration of services such as pipework and electrics, reducing the need for additional drilling or alterations.
