Iron Forged Designs have recently started work on a large scale sculptural piece for Brackley.

Right, that's it then. All packed and ready for the York Viking Market. Heading north in the morning.

Two new swords for sale at the market, IFD serial numberS 003 and 005. It will be first come first served on these so come down to the York Viking Market and grab them before they are gone 😁

Recently finished by Iron Forged Designs:
a replica of the spear head from the Gjermundbu grave.
The inlay is reproduced as accurately as we could make out from the original.
Big thanks to Matt Bunker for the advice and use of his photos of the original which made it much easier to replicate the inlay pattern! (We have used Matt's photo in our image of the original next to the replica).

Just finished by Iron Forged Designs!

Replica of Petersen Type H single edged Sword C24550 from the Nationalmuseet, Copenhagen.
Hilt is brass (the original was iron completely covered with brass sheet) with a bog oak grip.

Weight: 1106g
Blade Length: 700mm
Overall Length: 850mm
Blade Material: Hardened and tempered EN45 spring steel
